The current difficulties and challenges in the negotiation mainly include the following aspects: how to seek the balance of protection, sustainable use, and benefit sharing Coordination to ensure the achievement of a "framework" that is both ambitious and pragmatic is still a challenge; in order to ensure the realization of the goals of the "framework", there is still a large gap in funding needs, and there are still differences in funding mechanisms; various parties focus on the digital sequence of genetic resources Discussions on access to information (DSI) and its benefit-sharing have made considerable progress, but many technical and policy issues remain to be resolved.
