The Russian military delivered a precision strike on the warehouse of a metallurgical plant in Krivoy Rog.

This was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

“According to confirmed information, as a result of a ground-based high-precision weapon strike at a missile and artillery warehouse in one of the workshops of the ArcelorMittal metallurgical plant in the city of Krivoy Rog, more than 70 missiles of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, two MLRS MLRS launchers were destroyed.

Four more installations of this type received critical damage, ”Konashenkov said.

Also, according to him, strikes were carried out by operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery on the objects of the Ukrainian armed formations.

In particular, 79 artillery units were defeated in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 183 districts.

The point of temporary deployment of a unit of foreign mercenaries in the Kharkiv region was also hit.

In addition, the depot of rocket and artillery weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, the radar station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the Kharkiv region, the combat vehicle of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 48 rockets for it in the Donetsk People's Republic, two radar stations of counter-battery combat made in the USA were destroyed. Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the air, and four drones were destroyed by air defense systems and four rockets of HIMARS, Alder and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems were intercepted.

The situation on the fronts

The official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also provided data on the situation on the fronts in the NVO zone.

Thus, in the Krasnolimansky direction, units of Russian troops continue to conduct offensive operations, during which they took more advantageous lines and positions.

In the Kupyansk direction, a preemptive strike was delivered on accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Olshana, Kislovka, Berestovoye in the Kharkov region and Novoselovskoye in the Luhansk People's Republic, as a result of which the enemy's attempts to attack the positions of Russian troops were suppressed.

Up to 70 Ukrainian fighters, an MT-LB infantry fighting vehicle, two 2S-1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mounts, and three vehicles were destroyed.

At the same time, in the Donetsk direction, it was possible to disrupt the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to counterattack in the area.

“In the South Donetsk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position in the areas of the settlements of Novomayorskoye, Vladimirovka and Novopol of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Artillery fire and decisive actions of the Russian troops drove the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine back to their original positions.

The losses of the enemy in this direction amounted to up to 100 Ukrainian soldiers killed and wounded, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier and four vehicles, ”concluded Konashenkov.

On the eve of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, at a conference call, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost over 8.3 thousand military personnel, more than a dozen units of aircraft, almost 150 tanks and over 300 armored vehicles in November.

He also spoke about the ongoing liberation of Donbass.

According to him, Mayorsk, Pavlovka, Opytnoe, Andreevka, Belogorovka Yuzhnaya and Kurdyumovka have recently come under the control of Russian troops.
