SVT Gävleborg has examined the children in the high-profile murder case in Sätra in Gävle, where a 24-year-old gang criminal was shot dead.
Now we can reveal that the three teenage murder suspects are already known to the police.
The mapping shows that there was concern from the authorities regarding the teenage boys' socializing and drug use.
The 16-year-old linked to gang crime
Shortly after the murder in Sätra at the beginning of November, the teenagers, 15, 16 and 17 years old, were arrested on suspicion of the murder.
The detained 16-year-old has a clear connection to gang crime in Gävle.
The 17-year-old already has a punishment order for minor drug offenses and the 15-year-old has not been punished, but has been suspected of, among other things, serious assault.
All have had reports of concern to social services.
Since the arrest, SVT Gävleborg has mapped the background of the detained boys by talking to several people in their immediate vicinity, investigating their involvement in previous criminal cases and reviewing documents from social services.
We have been in contact with the families of the detained teenage boys who do not want to participate.
