SVT Nyheter Väst visited the construction in Trollhättan and was given a guided tour by Drazen Kendes, project manager at the city of Trollhättan, who believes that the new bridge will contribute a lot to the city.
Change of plans
The idea was that the bridge would only be ready after around 1,800 homes had been built in the new district of Vårvik, but that was not the case.
The prevailing world situation, material shortages and withdrawn investment support have caused many home builders to wait.
- Now, unfortunately, we have no housing at the moment, but public transport will flow here and that is a prerequisite for the future.
