“Tomorrow we will have a closed briefing for all senators on the latest events in Ukraine,” RIA Novosti quoted Schumer as saying at a press conference.
He expressed confidence that the senators will leave the briefing with a greater understanding of the critical importance of the need to "keep our country moving and innovating."
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the creation of an international tribunal for Ukraine "is on the table."
