The one who runs the "Norman makes videos" page is in police custody as part of a preliminary investigation entrusted to the Brigade for the Protection of Minors (BPM).
According to Liberation, the charges relate to six "potential victims" who were "questioned" and five of whom would accuse him of rape.
Two of them would be minors, according to the newspaper.
A Quebec fan, Maggie D., had publicly accused him in 2020 of having manipulated her to obtain sexual photos and videos.
She said she had filed a complaint in Canada.
Questioned by AFP, she confirmed that she was currently in France to be confronted with Norman in front of the investigators, as indicated by Liberation.
Norman, 12 million subscribers, debuted in 2011 on Youtube.
His videos, according to a tally by the platform, have been viewed more than 2.7 billion times.
He also performed on stage.
