Two residents of

the Pontevedra municipality of Lalín, aged 21 and 27

, have been arrested for assaulting a homeless man in Gijón on November 25 at night.

The alleged perpetrators

released a video of the attack on social networks

in an arcade in the Asturian city while hurling insults at him.

After the video was released, the security forces managed to identify the alleged attackers, two residents of Lalín.

One of them was located in Gijón, where the National Police arrested him this Friday.

The other was already arrested in Lalín by agents of the Civil Guard of the Pontevedra municipality.

According to sources consulted by Europa Press, the detainee in Galicia was brought to justice this Saturday and has been released with charges.

He is accused of a crime of injury and another of hate.
