“Assign [Rauf Arashukov] a sentence of life imprisonment to be served in a special regime colony with a fine of one million rubles,” said a representative of the prosecutor’s office.
The prosecutor requested the same punishment for Raul Arashukov.
In early March, it became known that Raul Arashukov, Advisor to the General Director of OAO Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, was charged with stealing gas and creating a criminal community.
His son Rauf Arashukov was detained on 30 January.
Rauf Arashukov has been charged under three articles of the Criminal Code related to contract killings.
