The man has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.
- He is considered to be seriously injured, says Carina Skagerlind, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
At 8 p.m., the police stated that there is still no one detained in the case.
The crime scene has been cordoned off for technical investigation and the police have searched the area with dogs.
There is no information that any suspicious object has been found.
- We have worked quite intensively at the scene interviewing witnesses, knocking on doors and securing any traces, says Carina Skagerlind at the police.
The incident is classified as attempted murder or attempted murder.
