Relatives of those killed in the collapse of a house in Nizhnevartovsk will be paid 1 million rubles each

This was announced by the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Natalya Komarova.

“We have a decision that when citizens find themselves in a situation characterized by an emergency regime, then a one-time assistance is paid for a family in the amount of 100 thousand rubles,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

In the event of a person's death as a result of an emergency, the relatives of the deceased are paid 1 million rubles, Komarova recalled.

Earlier, investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of a partial collapse of a residential building in Nizhnevartovsk.

According to the latest information, six people died as a result of the incident.

According to the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov, the cause of the explosion in a residential building in Nizhnevartovsk was the depressurization of a gas cylinder.
