On December 5, Putin visited the Crimean bridge, spoke with the builders and drove a car across it.

“Against the backdrop of continuing threats officially voiced from Kyiv about possible new attacks against the Crimean bridge and related infrastructure, Putin emphasized the importance of the land road that connects Crimea with the rest of Russia,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

On November 19, Khusnullin announced the completion of the installation of all spans of the road part of the Crimean bridge.

At the same time, the Ministry of Transport reported that motor traffic on the Crimean bridge, which had been suspended due to repairs, had been resumed.
