Regarding the securing of financial resources, the government and ruling parties will decide the direction by the end of the year, but the focus will be on how far a concrete path can be shown.

Prime Minister Kishida held talks with Minister of Finance Suzuki and Minister of Defense Hamada on the night of the 5th, aiming at a drastic strengthening of defense capabilities. I showed a policy to secure the yen.

Regarding the financial resources for defense spending, some within the ruling party are of the opinion that, even if the government bonds are issued for the time being, it is necessary to clarify the policy, including future tax increases, by the end of this year.
