A new bill to regulate malicious donations will be deliberated in the House of Representatives on the 6th to help the victims of the former Unification Church.

The ruling party is requesting that the opposition party secure sufficient deliberation time, so it is a policy to pass the bill in the current Diet, with a view to extending the session until the 10th of this week.

The bill will be deliberated at the plenary session of the House of Representatives on the afternoon of the 6th, and then a question will be asked at the special committee.

In order to gain the understanding of the opposition parties, the Liberal Democratic Party will make recommendations and announce the name of the corporation to both the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Japan Restoration Party on the 5th if the corporation that solicits donations fails to take care of the obligation. Secretary-General Motegi emphasized, "We have incorporated the maximum legal system and everything that can be proposed by the opposition parties."

In response to this, both parties said that the amendment bill can be evaluated to a certain extent, but pointed out that there are still issues to be addressed in order to prevent malicious donations through mind control. It is a decision making policy.

In addition, the four opposition parties, including both parties, are requesting that Prime Minister Kishida attend and question lawyers who have been supporting victims, saying that it is necessary to secure sufficient deliberation time.

For this reason, the ruling party plans to proceed with schedule discussions with the opposition party, with a view to extending the session until the 10th of this week, and aim to pass the bill in the current Diet session.
