　　A few days ago, the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland was launched in Guiyang and will continue until December 31.

　　Since July this year, the 25th anniversary touring exhibition of Hong Kong's return to the motherland with the theme of "25 years of hard work and a new journey together" has been held in Lanzhou, Shenyang, Yinchuan, Tianjin, Harbin, Changchun and other places.

Audiences from all over the country experienced the charm of Hong Kong at close range, learned about Hong Kong's development achievements in the past 25 years after returning to the motherland, and experienced the universally recognized success of the "one country, two systems" practice in Hong Kong.

　　The exhibition includes sections such as "From actively participating in the country's reform and opening up to integrating into the overall situation of national development" and "Forging ahead to seek development and create a future that will benefit people's livelihood".

"I hope that through the exhibition, we can continue to enhance cooperation and strengthen exchanges with inland provinces and cities, so as to jointly seize the development opportunities of the country." Liang Zhiren, director of the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, said in an interview with a reporter from Economic Daily.

Showing the splendor of 25 years

　　In July, the touring exhibition for the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland kicked off in Lanzhou. This was the first exhibition held by the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in a mainland city to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.

The exhibition takes the time tunnel as the design concept and builds a "time corridor" with a sense of science and technology. Through nearly 150 photos and multiple videos, it reviews the history and achievements of Hong Kong's return to the motherland 25 years ago, and demonstrates the successful practice of "one country, two systems" in Hong Kong.

　　In August, at the Shenyang station of the touring exhibition, a small model of the Hong Kong Central Ferris Wheel was unique and novel, displaying 24 most representative pictures of Hong Kong, attracting many audiences to take pictures together.

　　Immersive experience is the highlight of this touring exhibition. In addition to the landmark buildings with Hong Kong characteristics, Lion Rock, Peak Tram, Star Ferry and other elements, interactive games such as "Light Up 25" and "Bless Hong Kong with a Statement Postcard" were also designed , with text, pictures, and video content, vividly demonstrates Hong Kong's outstanding achievements in the fields of rule of law, economy, trade, education, and people's livelihood since the return of the motherland, attracting on-site visitors to stop and "check in".

　　In Tianjin, the somatosensory interactive game "Run Calorie" sets the length of the runway to 25 years from 1997 to 2022. When the player runs to the corresponding year, a brief introduction of the major events of the year will appear on the screen, making the exhibition fun and connotative Take it to the next level.

　　In Harbin, the historic Hong Kong Peak Tramway was "re-enacted", and the inside of the cable car displayed a comprehensive interpretation of Hong Kong's development process, which is convenient for the audience to deepen their understanding of Hong Kong during the tour.

During the exhibition, the audience can also use interactive VR glasses to overlook Hong Kong and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Victoria Harbor across time and space.

　　In order to break through the limitation of the exhibition space, the offline exhibition hall has also been moved to the "cloud".

By scanning the QR code, the audience entered the webpage of "25 years of hard work and a new journey together", and wrote down their blessings to the motherland and expectations for Hong Kong on the Kongming lanterns.

　There are many opportunities under "one country, two systems"

　　Over the past 25 years, the constitutional order of the special administrative region based on the Constitution and the Basic Law has been operating steadily, the overall governance power of the central government has been implemented, and the high degree of autonomy of the special administrative region has been correctly exercised.

As the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, said in his 2022 Policy Address: "'One Country, Two Systems' is the best institutional guarantee for Hong Kong's long-term prosperity and stability."
