Today, Monday, the Palestinian News Agency reported the death of a Palestinian youth and the wounding of six, during the occupation forces’ raid on the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem in the West Bank, in conjunction with a similar raid on the Jenin camp.

While the Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that clashes took place between the Israeli occupation army and Palestinians, after it stormed the outskirts of Jenin camp in the West Bank.

Palestinian media quoted local sources as saying that the occupation forces arrested Yahya Al-Saadi, son of the leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Bassam Al-Saadi, from Jenin camp.

Pictures posted on social media showed bulldozers of the occupation army as they started removing obstacles placed by Palestinians.

For months, the Israeli army has been carrying out operations in the northern West Bank, concentrated in the cities of Nablus and Jenin, under the pretext of pursuing wanted persons.

Clashes and exchanges of fire usually erupt in each operation in anger at the continued attacks of the occupation army and settlers against the Palestinian people.​​​​​​​

According to the Palestinian News Agency, the number of Palestinian martyrs has risen since the beginning of this year to more than 210.
