An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the death of a man in his 70s last Friday in Avignon (Vaucluse).

He was allegedly the victim of an electrocution.
When the firefighters arrived on site, around 1:30 p.m., the man had one hand resting on a large electric cable, our colleagues indicate.
His vehicle was parked nearby.
Emergency services were unable to resuscitate him.
Experts from the technical and scientific police intervened on site to carry out the first readings.
For now, investigators do not know why the septuagenarian touched the cable.
