Dmitry - senior sergeant, grenade launcher.

He himself is from the Khabarovsk Territory, but for the last nine years he has been serving under a contract in Sakhalin.

He ended up on the island in 2013, when he did military service there.

“During the service, my worldview has changed completely, and on the 11th month of the term, I decided to conclude a contract.

I believe that being a military man is my vocation,” Prytkov says proudly.

“I made an offer right on the platform”

At the beginning of 2022, Dmitry met his love Christina.

“As soon as we arrived, a special military operation began.

March 4th I had to leave.

I promised that as soon as I return, my beloved and I will get married.

After I completed the combat mission, I found out that there was an opportunity to go to Russia for five days.

I immediately called the bride and paid for her way from Sakhalin to Belgorod.

She arrived on April 15 at 06:00, I met her at the station and immediately proposed.

Already at 15:00 in the hero city of Belgorod, our marriage was registered, ”recalls Dmitry.

Christina describes that day as follows: “Dima called and said: “Hurry up and get tickets!”

I traveled a day and a half by plane and train, but the long journey was not important, the main thing was to meet my beloved.

Dima proposed to me right on the platform.

I couldn't believe my luck."

After registering the marriage, Christina returned back to Sakhalin, and Dmitry went to the front line to his comrades.

On April 29, Dmitry, together with a platoon of Russian military personnel, went on a reconnaissance mission to search for and destroy enemy DRGs in one of the settlements occupied by Ukrainian military personnel.

Senior Sergeant Prytkov was the first to notice a mobile mortar crew and decided to open fire from an RPG on a pickup truck.

After a successful attack, reconnaissance continued.

Soon Prytkov's group discovered the enemy's stronghold.

The enemy opened heavy mortar fire on the Russian fighters.

Dmitry received multiple severe shrapnel wounds as a result of a mine that exploded nearby.

But despite this, he continued to fight.

As a result, the stronghold was taken, and the personnel of the platoon were saved.

Later, for this battle, Senior Sergeant Prytkov was awarded the medal "For Courage".

Dmitry was evacuated to Moscow, to the TsVKG im.

Vishnevsky.

He spent 32 days in the hospital.

“I immediately called my wife, on Sakhalin at that time it was four in the morning.

I asked if she would love me either?

I had penetrating wounds to my nose and right hand, as well as deaf wounds to my shins, left thigh, and right shoulder.

And I was very worried about this, ”he shared with RT.

Payment not due

Her husband's call took Christina by surprise: “He told me about the injury, and without hesitation I ran to collect documents in order to fly to him as soon as possible.

After all, support and a loved one nearby will heal wounds faster.”

During treatment and rehabilitation, the wife did not leave Dmitry a single step.

And after being discharged at the end of May, the young people finally celebrated the wedding as it should be - with a white dress and a cake.

In June, the government of the Sakhalin Region issued a decree on payments to wounded members of the SVO and the families of servicemen who died in a special operation.

According to the document, a one-time payment of 500 thousand rubles is due for severe injuries.

But Prytkov cannot receive this money: as officials say, this requires that the serviceman be registered in the Sakhalin region at the time of the injury.

And Dmitry is still registered in the Khabarovsk Territory.

“I have all the documents in my hands: a certificate of injury, a discharge letter from the hospital, a certificate of service in the Sakhalin Region.

Submitted an application to the Ministry of Social Protection in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

But they refused to pay me,” he says.

“You have been denied a one-time financial assistance.

The reason is your lack of registration at the place of residence on the territory of the Sakhalin Region on the date of injury (the date of injury is 04/29/2022, the date of registration at the place of residence in the Khabarovsk Territory is 08/07/1996),” the official letter from the Ministry of Social Protection of the Sakhalin Region says. areas.

“It turns out that I have been living and serving on Sakhalin for nine years, from here I left for the Donbass and returned here - I continued to serve, but I am not entitled to payment.

It’s unfair somehow, ”says Dmitry.

RT sent a request to the government of the Sakhalin region with a request to help Dmitry in solving the problem.
