Today, he estimates that around 3,000 car tires lie next to the car workshop in Svalöv.
But a few months ago, the pile was more than twice as large.
- None of this is ours.
But several times we still had to order shipping.
It has happened that the carriers did not want to pick up the tires because they are full of noise, says Kim Kvist, workshop manager at Bilhallen Servicecenter in Svalöv.
A few meters from recycling
Companies that sell tires are also required to accept a number of end-of-life tires.
- But only a few per customer.
Not tens or hundreds, says Kim Kvist.
The landowner has seen people from, for example, Ystad dumping tires in the pile.
To stop the dumping, fencing has therefore recently been installed around the property.
The colleagues at the car workshop now hope that people will throw their tires in the right place.
- It is quite stupid that they are located here when there is a recycling center a few meters away.
