Bhutto Zardai - who was a guest on the "Today's Meeting" program - accused Khan of believing in populism and in matters unrelated to reality, and that the political work he practices does not benefit the people, stressing that he never refused to grant the United States of America a military base, and that the Americans themselves did not ask that.

He also stressed that the Americans had no role in the process of no confidence in the former prime minister.

The dismissed prime minister was subjected to a failed assassination attempt in the city of Wazirabad in the Punjab province in eastern Pakistan, noting that he was leading a march that started from the city of Lahore towards the capital, Islamabad, as part of a campaign to demand new elections after he was removed from office last April.

On the other hand, Bhutto Zardai saw that there was no need for early elections in Pakistan, and considered that these elections support Khan's agenda, with evidence that before the no-confidence vote against him, there were similar demands that he did not respond to.

He added that Pakistan has achieved important democratic successes since 2007 until 2022, and all parliaments have completed their five-year term.

The necessity of resolving the Kashmir dispute

Regarding Pakistan's foreign relations in light of the current international polarization, the guest of the "Today's Meeting" program explained that his country has longstanding relations with China and has historical relations with the United States and deep economic relations with the two countries, and it does not want to take sides with a particular party, but rather it seeks to confront all Challenges and problems.

Regarding Pakistan's relations with Afghanistan, Bhutto Zardai made it clear that the two countries have historical ties and ties, and that Pakistan deals with the transitional government in Afghanistan as an existing reality, and looks forward to working with all its neighbors.

Regarding the reason for not revealing the perpetrators of the assassination of his mother, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, on December 27, 2007, the Pakistani minister confirmed that the investigators and the competent authorities had reached the conclusion that the matter was very complicated and there were questions that remained unanswered, indicating that justice would come one day from the Pakistani authorities. .
