North Korea's propaganda media criticized the government's denuclearization roadmap 'bold idea' again.

The Tongil Shinbo, North Korea's weekly magazine for external use, reported on the Ministry of Unification's publication of explanatory materials on unification and North Korea policy last month and the news of the discussion in an article on its website today (4th). The 'conception' is an absurd delusion," he argued.

"It is a fact known to all in the world that the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula was created when the United States introduced nuclear weapons to South Korea and threatened our Republic with them," he said.

The media said, "The Republic has already made it clear and legalized beforehand that there is absolutely no first abandonment of nuclear weapons, no denuclearization, and no negotiations for that, and no bargains to be exchanged in the process."

The media added, "Thinking that the Republic can go head-to-head with them to give up nuclear weapons is the height of stupidity, like trying to harvest beans by planting red beans."

On the 21st of last month, the Ministry of Unification published a policy explanatory material, “The Korean Peninsula of Denuclearization, Peace and Prosperity,” and announced that it would promote support for the normalization of US-North Korea relations, establishment of a peace regime, and arms control between the two Koreas through political and military measures under the “Bold Initiative.” revealed.
