According to the police, the suspected shooting must have occurred in Bosvedjan in Sundsvall during Friday evening.

An injured man came into the emergency room in Sundsvall.

The man's injuries are "suspected to have been inflicted with a firearm", the police write on their website.

On Saturday, Region Västernorrland announces that the man has received moderate injuries and did not need to be hospitalized.

According to residents in the area, a car must have been observed in connection with it leaving the scene, writes Sundsvall's newspaper.

Crime scene cordoned off

The police are classifying the incident as attempted murder.

Four people have been arrested in the case.

They are arrested on the lower level of suspicion, reasonably suspected.

More interrogations are planned to be held during the day and the case is now led by prosecutors, Elisabeth Glaas announces in a press release.
