It was during the spring of 2020 that Uppsala resident PG Norman developed a high fever and contracted covid.
He did not belong to a risk group, but was so badly affected that he was admitted to the University Hospital for seven months.
The organs were about to give up - and so were the hospital staff.
- In retrospect, I have been told that they were close to turning off the respirator, says PG Norman.
