“The Belarusian Defense Ministry and the Russian Defense Ministry signed a protocol to the agreement between Belarus and Russia on the joint provision of regional security in the military sphere of December 19, 1997,” the agency quotes him as saying.
On the evening of December 3, the BelTA news agency reported that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu arrived in Belarus for talks with his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin.
