“The enemy made attempts to counterattack in the areas of the settlements of Sladkoye, Shevchenko and Novomayorskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic ... The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were stopped and thrown back to their original positions,” the department’s report says.
It is noted that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 40 people killed and wounded.
In addition, two infantry fighting vehicles and five vehicles were destroyed.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that the Russian military repelled the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolimansk direction in the area of the settlements of Kolomyychikha and Zhitlovka in the LPR.
