“When thousands of our loved ones defend our country.

Therefore, those issues that are considered by the Bar Association should be directly related to the interests of our country,” Medvedev said.

He noted that the association currently unites 35,000 lawyers.

“These are unconditional professionals who are constantly working.

They help people who need support, help.

There are always many such people, and especially today,” Medvedev stressed.

The "Lawyer of the Year" award in the "Human Rights Defenders" nomination was given to Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
