“Recommendations have been made on our part: if there is a long blackout, then planned hospitalizations and planned operations will be suspended so as not to overload the establishments,” TASS quoted her as saying.

Karcevic added that during the blackout, only emergency medical care will be provided.

On November 23, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the deployment of more than 4,000 "points of invincibility" in the country in case of a blackout.

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine David Arakhamia advised the people of the country to organize supplies of water and food in case of new shutdowns of energy facilities.
