The Russian leader announced this during a meeting with disabled people and representatives of public organizations.
Yuri Shashnin, chairman of the Belgorod regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of the Disabled "All-Russian Society of the Deaf", who was present at the meeting, spoke about the desire of the deaf society to implement a project aimed at the year-round work of Mayak.
However, Shashnin noted, this requires renovation of the sanatorium, including the construction of new sports and health grounds, as well as the purchase of medical and rehabilitation equipment.
He asked the Russian president to help finance this project.
“I am ready to do it from the Presidential Reserve Fund... You will implement it, we will only help you,” Putin said.
