They discussed various aspects of the situation around Ukraine.
In particular, Putin said that the pinpoint missile strikes of the Russian armed forces on certain targets in Ukraine were a forced reaction to the provocations of Kyiv.
He also called on the German politician to reconsider Berlin's approaches in the context of the events taking place in Ukraine.
