(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) Experts: Negative persons in the "mixed positive" group are judged as non-close contacts and are immediately released from isolation

China News Agency, Beijing, December 2. According to Chinese official media reports, around hot issues of public concern, relevant experts from the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council of China recently stated that negative personnel in the "mixed positive" group of nucleic acid tests are judged to be non-close. The quarantine should be released immediately after contact.

Relevant experts pointed out that in the group of "ten mixed and one" nucleic acid test positive, if the individual is confirmed to be negative after a single test recheck, it should be determined in time whether it is a close contact. Generally, a judgment can be made within 24 hours.

If it is not close contact, the quarantine will be lifted immediately.

Talking about "sealing the door of the building to strengthen prevention and control", relevant experts clearly pointed out that this move is "not feasible".

It is strictly forbidden to use hard fences to block building passages, and the method of "locking it all together" cannot be used.

If grassroots community managers and community property managers block safety exits, evacuation passages, fire exits, etc., they have first violated the relevant provisions of the Fire Protection Law.

At the same time, it is not advisable to implement "one size fits all" rigid isolation and set up roadblocks around key areas such as hospitals.

According to Article 50 of the "Public Security Management Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China", it is illegal to obstruct the passage of vehicles such as fire trucks, ambulances, engineering emergency vehicles, and police cars performing emergency tasks.

In addition, relevant experts also stated that if there are repeated positive results in the building, it means that there is a continuous risk of community transmission.

But as long as the unblocking conditions are met, it must be unblocked in time.

The "New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic Risk Area Delineation and Control Plan" pointed out that no new infections were found in the high-risk area for 5 consecutive days, and all personnel in the risk area completed a round of nucleic acid screening on the 5th day and all were negative, reducing it to low-risk Area.

High-risk areas that meet the conditions for unblocking should be unblocked in a timely manner.

Experts also said that in the process of dealing with the epidemic, if individual cases and asymptomatic infections pose a low risk of transmission to the place of residence, work, and activity areas, close contacts have been controlled in time, and it is determined that there is no risk of community transmission, so it is not necessary to delineate risk zone.
