China News Service, December 1 (Xinhua) According to TASS news agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on November 29 local time that the cost of rebuilding Ukraine will exceed 1 trillion U.S. dollars, and Kyiv is planning to launch a "sponsorship" system to allow Western countries to participate in this project. A process whereby some Ukrainian states and cities accepted their support.
Zelensky said that dozens of countries have been attracted to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine, "the total scale of this work exceeds 1 trillion US dollars."
He added that the "patronage" system would allow countries and companies to participate in the reconstruction of a particular region, city, area or business, "We have seen France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey , Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Austria, Greece, Canada, USA, Japan and Australia have shown interest in sponsorship."
According to the Tass news agency, Zelensky had previously accused some countries of "doing nothing" for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
