Spanish police report interception of explosive envelope destined for prime minister

“The interception took place on November 24, after the services of the Security Department under the Government Presidium, sorting and selecting correspondence, discovered a suspicious postal item,” RIA Novosti reported.

It is specified that the envelope was sent by regular mail.

Earlier, El Mundo reported that the Spanish security services found a package of explosives at the air base in Torrejon de Ardoz.

Later, the Spanish Interior Ministry confirmed the discovery of an explosive package at the airbase.

Also, according to El Mundo, a package with explosives was sent to the building of the Spanish Ministry of Defense.
