Netanyahu reaches an agreement with the right-wing religious Zionist party to join a coalition

The Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, said today, Thursday, that the Israeli prime minister-designate had reached an agreement with the far-right religious Zionist party, to join a government coalition, to get closer to forming a new government after last month's elections.

Likud explained that the Religious Zionist Party would be given control of the Finance Ministry in rotation, along with other portfolios.

He did not, however, provide details of how the rotation would take place.
