Two Palestinian youths were killed and a third was wounded, while 4 others were arrested, during the Israeli occupation forces storming the city and camp of Jenin in the northern West Bank today, Thursday. The Islamic Jihad movement mourned the two martyrs and said that they are among its most prominent field leaders.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the Jenin camp and the "Al-Hadaf" area, and entered into violent confrontations and clashes with Palestinians.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement, "The martyrdom of the two young men, Muhammad Ayman Al-Saadi (26 years) and Naim Jamal Zubaidi (27 years), by the Israeli occupation bullets at dawn today during its aggression on the Jenin camp."

The Islamic Jihad Movement and its armed arm, the Al-Quds Brigades, mourned the two martyrs, and said that they were among its most prominent field commanders, stressing that they were martyred during their response to the Israeli invasion of the camp.

The movement stressed that the crime of killing them would not go unanswered, and that it would not break the will of the resistance to fight the occupation.

Local sources told Anadolu Agency that "an Israeli force stormed the city and camp of Jenin and surrounded a house, which led to a clash with armed Palestinians." Witnesses added that the clash lasted about an hour and a half.

With the martyrdom of the two young men today, the number of Palestinian martyrs rose to 8 in less than two days, amid repeated incursions into the occupied Palestinian territories.

For months, the Israeli army has been carrying out operations in the northern West Bank, concentrated in the cities of Nablus and Jenin, under the pretext of pursuing wanted persons.

Clashes and exchanges of fire usually erupt in each operation in anger at the continued attacks of the occupation army and settlers against the Palestinian people.
