  At 23:08 on November 29, the Long March 2F Yao 15 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

This is the 27th mission since the establishment of China's manned space program and the fourth manned mission after entering the space station stage.

The success of this launch marks the successful completion of all 12 launch missions planned for the key technology verification and construction stages of the space station.

  After the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft entered orbit, it successfully docked at the forward port of the Tianhe core module of the space station at 05:42 on November 30. The entire docking process lasted about 6.5 hours.

The crew of Shenzhou 14 has already made various preparations in advance for the arrival of the crew of Shenzhou 15. This is the first time for Chinese astronauts to welcome a visit from a manned spacecraft at the space station.

  Subsequently, the two astronaut crews will perform their first on-orbit rotation on the space station.

During the period, the six astronauts will work and live together on the space station for about 5 days to complete various established tasks and handover work.

  Since the launch of the Tianhe core module at the end of April 2021, China's manned spaceflight project has successfully organized 3 space station modules, 4 manned spacecraft and 4 missions at the Wenchang and Jiuquan launch sites in less than 20 months. The shortest interval between two missions at the same launch site is only 12 days.
