Person hit by vehicle outside Växjö - "Quite high speed on the stretch"

- A person is hit by a vehicle on a stretch at a fairly high speed, says Dan Nyberg, operations leader at Värend's rescue service in Växjö.

It is 90 kilometers per hour on the stretch where the accident occurred, according to the rescue service.

Ambulance, police and emergency services are on the scene and the road is closed until further notice.

The condition of the person's injuries is currently unknown.
