Regarding the tax system reform for the next fiscal year, the Liberal Democratic Party's tax system research committee will flatten the tax amount for small businesses that will be required to pay a new tax due to the start of the consumption tax invoice system in October next year. We have decided to reduce the consumption tax on sales to 20%.

The "invoice", which will start in October next year, is an official invoice that proves the rate and amount of consumption tax. It is expected that there will be more cases where you will be asked to use the invoice from the beginning.

However, since invoices are used, it is obligatory to pay taxes when registered with the tax office, raising concerns about an increase in the burden on business operators.

For this reason, the Liberal Democratic Party's tax research committee, which is discussing tax reform for the next fiscal year, said at a meeting on the 30th that the tax amount would be uniformly distributed to sales as a measure to alleviate the drastic change in businesses that need to pay new taxes. We decided to reduce the consumption tax to 20%.

The consumption tax paid by businesses is calculated by deducting the consumption tax paid at the time of purchase, etc., but by uniformly reducing it, it is possible to save the trouble of calculating the tax amount.

The mitigation measures will be implemented for three years from October next year, when the invoice system will be introduced.

In addition, we have decided to implement a policy of not requiring invoices for six years if the purchase amount is less than 10,000 yen for businesses with annual sales of 100 million yen or less.
