According to him, the West is actively using the potential of the civilian space infrastructure in order to support the operations of the Ukrainian military.

Ermakov stressed that the "provocative use" of civilian satellites "raises questions in the context of the Outer Space Treaty", which assumes their exclusively peaceful use.

“Such a quasi-civilian infrastructure, if used in military operations against Russia, can quite logically become a legitimate target for retaliatory defeat,” the diplomat said.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that if NATO supplies "Kyiv fanatics" with Patriot complexes along with NATO personnel, they will immediately become a legitimate target for the Russian army.
