What's new for December on Prime Video?

  • "Ocean's 8" by Gary Ross

In this last film of the saga, it is the women who take power.

During her 5 years of detention, Debbie Ocean (Danny's little sister) had time to develop a meticulous plan to steal the Toussaint, a famous diamond necklace estimated at 150 million dollars.

How ?

By infiltrating New York's high society during the annual "Met" gala thanks to the best team of mobsters in the United States.

Small precision, this squad is only composed of women: a former accomplice of Danny, a famous actress, a fashion designer, a hacker and, of course, a jeweler...

The screenplay by Gary Ross ("Hunger Games") retains the spirit and humor of Soderbergh's feature films for your viewing pleasure.

Like the first opus, the film brings together the stars of the moment in a cast as cool as they are talented: Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Awkwafina, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Sarah Paulson for a 100% female thriller, far clichés of the cutesy and sensitive woman.

This female variant of the original concept has nothing to envy to its predecessors.

To discover from December 1st on Prime Video.

  • "Suicide Squad" by David Ayer

Secret agent Amanda Waller assembles a legion of the worst kind of scoundrels to lead a suicide mission to eliminate a global threat.

An extraordinary thriller that splashes the myth of the American superhero: here, it is the big bad guys who are in charge.

After the monumental "Man of Steel" and "Batman VS Superman", this third film in the DC Comics universe, released in 2016, stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman in the roles of unforgettable super antiheroes.

Let yourself be caught up in this over-gore program punctuated by a breathtaking Rock N'Roll soundtrack, with, among others, Queen, the Stones, Black Sabbat and Eminem.

As dynamic as it is funny, this blockbuster is more proof that DC Comics continues to nibble away at Marvel territory.

To discover or rediscover from December 1st on the Amazon Prime platform.

Ethan then goes in search of the jewel in the streets of Manhattan illuminated for the end of the year celebrations and ends up meet the mysterious woman who wears it... What if, in the end, fate had done things right?

Produced by Reese Witherspoon, this charming Christmas film ticks all the boxes of a traditional romantic comedy: two strangers in a big city, brought together following an unlikely misunderstanding.

Started in 2002, Xavier's adventures lead him to travel around the world: an illustrious roommate in Barcelona in the first part, then a Russian wedding in the second and finally the life of a single father in New York in the third.

It's hard not to get attached to the character of Xavier, who we've accompanied for more than 15 years between his romantic setbacks, often hilarious, and his deeper questions about the meaning of life.

All punctuated by the memorable voiceover of Romain Duris.

5-star cast made up of a host of exceptional French actors and in particular Romain Duris in this role which made him famous, but also Audrey Tautou, Cécile de France, Kelly Reilly.
