It was shortly after three o'clock last night that the police were called to a restaurant in Tranås due to a burglary.
According to the alarm, a person tried to break into the restaurant by breaking a window.
Tried to run over the guard
A security guard on site interrupted the break-in.
When the person who made the burglary attempt was interrupted, he fled the scene in a car.
The person then also tried to run over the security guard, who, however, managed to avoid being hit.
The car is believed to be stolen and the burglar left the scene at high speed.
The police will now investigate the incident.
