Nine firefighters were mobilized on Tuesday to help a cow in distress in Plouguenast-Langast, near Loudéac (Côtes-d'Armor).
As our colleagues from
Ouest-France
indicate , the cattle had fallen into a slurry pit.
It was the breeder who noticed the incident on his farm and who notified the emergency services around 7:30 a.m.
The man evokes with the daily newspaper a possible stampede within his herd.
The gate would then have opened and the dairy cow would have fallen into the hole.
Fortunately, the pit was not very deep and the animal was able to remain standing.
The firefighters, equipped with diving suits, reassembled the cattle, safe and sound, using a telescopic trolley.
