“Destroyed up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen”: the Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of Belogorovka and Pershe Travnya in the DPR

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the advance of Russian troops in the Donetsk direction as part of a special military operation in Ukraine.

“The settlements of Belogorovka and Pershe Travnya of the Donetsk People’s Republic have been completely liberated.

Up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored combat vehicles, three self-propelled artillery mounts and six vehicles were destroyed,” Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said during a briefing.

In turn, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to attack the positions of Russian troops with the forces of mechanized and tank company tactical groups in the area of ​​​​one of the settlements of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).

As noted in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were thrown back to their original positions.

In the process, up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, ten tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, two armored personnel carriers, a self-propelled artillery mount and a car were destroyed.

In addition, in the Krasnolimansky direction, three company tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reinforced with tanks, unsuccessfully tried to attack the positions of Russian troops in the direction of the settlements of the LPR.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the enemy was defeated, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were driven back to their original positions.

Ukrainian forces lost more than 40 servicemen, one tank, four infantry fighting vehicles and one vehicle with ammunition in this direction.

Along with this, in the South-Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to counterattack the positions of Russian troops in the areas of settlements of the DPR for a day.

As a result of the active actions of the Russian units, the counterattacks were repelled.

As noted in the department, the enemy was thrown back to their original positions.

More than 50 servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles, two armored personnel carriers, an MT-LB, an armored car and four vehicles were destroyed.

Meanwhile, aviation, missile troops and artillery defeated 97 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 157 districts.

In the Dnieper region, a large warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons of the Khortytsya group of troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed, where rockets of HIMARS, MLRS, Uragan multiple launch rocket systems and loitering ammunition were stored.

On the territory of the DPR, two US-made AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar stations were destroyed, as well as a command post and communications center of the 1st brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the counter-battery fight in the Kharkov region, a platoon of US-made M777 artillery systems was hit at a firing position.

An ammunition depot of the 60th Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed in the Zaporozhye region.

In addition, a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down by means of air defense.

Eight drones were also destroyed and eight HIMARS multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) and an Alder rocket were intercepted.

Shoigu - on the preparation of the mobilized and the state order

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that over 300,000 reservists, including volunteers, had been trained in two months.

In his opening speech at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Defense, the minister said that within the framework of partial mobilization, training of citizens who arrived from the reserve, the formation and combat coordination of military units and subunits is being carried out.

“About 3,000 instructors have been involved in the combat training of new military formations, more than 100 training grounds are involved in the territory of our country and the Republic of Belarus.

Over 300,000 reservists, including volunteers, have been trained in two months,” he said.

According to Shoigu, about 8,000 crews of combat vehicles and tanks, crews of artillery systems, air defense systems, unmanned aircraft and electronic warfare systems, and hardware communications have been trained in the training centers.

As the minister noted, the servicemen received the knowledge and skills necessary for the successful completion of tasks both independently and as part of units.

Along with this, the minister added that against the backdrop of the SVO and partial mobilization, the requirements for state orders at all levels of control and execution have increased.

According to him, control over the supply of especially demanded weapons is organized.

Shoigu noted that the measures taken will ensure the implementation of the state defense order at a level of at least 99%.

“Next year, taking into account the additional allocated budgetary funds, the amount of funding for the state defense order will increase by almost one and a half times.

This will make it possible to provide formations and military units with constant readiness with weapons and equipment at the level of 97%,” Shoigu continued.

He noted that in the current circumstances it is important to maintain the maximum possible volume of production, organize advanced deliveries to the troops, as well as continue the modernization and creation of advanced systems with their subsequent use during a special military operation.
