According to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, Tokayev held talks with Macron in Paris, during which the leaders exchanged views on strengthening ties between the two countries in the fields of education and culture, and also discussed topical issues on the international agenda.

“At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited Emmanuel Macron to visit Kazakhstan,” the statement said.

On November 26, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who won the presidential elections in Kazakhstan, took the oath and took office as head of state.

On November 28, he visited Russia and discussed bilateral relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
