On the 30th, the Diet will begin deliberations on this year's second supplementary budget at the Budget Committee of the House of Councilors.

The ruling party will enact the budget on the 1st of next month, and promptly enter into deliberations on a bill to help victims of the former Unification Church, hoping to gain the understanding of the opposition parties and enact it.

This year's second supplementary budget bill, which includes countermeasures against soaring prices, was passed on the 29th at the plenary session of the House of Representatives with a majority of support from the ruling party and others, and was sent to the House of Councillors.

In response to this, Prime Minister Kishida and all cabinet ministers will attend the Budget Committee of the House of Councilors for two days on the 30th and the 1st of next month to ask questions about the budget proposal.

Among them, the ruling party will confirm the expected effects of the government's energy price restraint measures.

In response, the opposition parties are poised to point out problems with the government's measures to raise wages, and to continue to pursue issues such as the election campaign of Reconstruction Minister Akiba.

The ruling party wants to enact a supplementary budget on the 1st of next month.

In addition, the government plans to make a cabinet decision on the new bill to help the victims of the former Unification Church on the 1st of next month. I would like to gain understanding and try to enact it in the current Diet session.

The opposition party plans to question the effectiveness of the bill even on the 30th, saying that it is still insufficient to relieve the victims.
