Wolf attacks are increasing and worrying in the Drôme.

Two attacks occurred a few days apart, between last Saturday and Monday, and caused the death of several sheep, reports

746 animals killed in 2022 in the department

The facts first took place in the town of Gigors-et-Lozeron, near Crest.

The canine had attacked a calving cow and her calf.

The animals were both killed.

Two days later, in Félines-sur-Rimandoule, four lambs and a ewe were killed in similar circumstances.

According to the Maploup census site, 746 animals have lost their lives in wolf attacks since the beginning of the year in the department.
