His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, affirmed that the 30th of November comes to remember the honorable martyrs of the homeland who defended the soil, pride and dignity of this homeland.
His Highness added, in a speech addressed to him through the Nation Shield magazine, on the occasion of Martyr's Day, which falls on the 30th of November of each year, that the nation's martyrs inscribed their names in letters of light in the record of pride and honor, presenting the most beautiful pictures of giving and redemption for the homeland and raising its flag.
In detail, His Highness said in his speech: “The 30th of November coincides with the memory of Martyr’s Day, in which we remember the honorable martyrs of the homeland who defended the soil, pride and dignity of this homeland, until they rose to their Lord as martyrs, underlining in letters of light in the record of pride and honor their names and sacrifices, and presenting the most beautiful pictures Giving and redemption for the homeland and raising its flag.
His Highness added: “The fragrant biography of those who sacrificed their most precious possessions for the sake of defending their country and the word of truth will remain in the memory of history without any hesitation. Rather, the fields witnessed them with courage, valor, and images of heroism, and God chose for them this position that is not comparable to a position in terms of reward.” Great reward, high ranks, and forgiveness of sins.
