The main topic of the meeting will be the discussion of the situation with the salaries of certain categories of public sector workers," the statement said.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Finance, Anton Siluanov, said earlier that the draft budget for 2023 and the planning period of 2024-2025 provides for an increase in the subsistence minimum, the minimum wage and the salaries of state employees.

It was also reported that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered to allocate 1 trillion rubles from the National Wealth Fund to cover the federal budget deficit in 2022.
