Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this.
“The armed formations of Ukraine are trying to intensify offensive actions in the direction of the settlement of Svatovo,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
Marochko said that during the day the company-tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to break through the defense line from three directions, all attacks were repelled.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that about 80 Ukrainian military personnel were destroyed in the LPR per day, and two offensive attempts were thwarted.
It was also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to counterattack in the Artyomovsky direction with the help of four company tactical groups, but were stopped.
