Former CIA officer Philip Giraldi previously expressed the opinion that the behavior of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after the incident with the missile fall in Poland suggests that he intends to draw the United States and NATO into an armed conflict.

CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas noted that support for Ukraine from NATO member countries leads to an expansion of the conflict in the country.
