He explained that the recent updates on “Nafes” by increasing support for the salaries of citizens in both the private and banking sectors, is an important step in reducing the gap between the government sector and the private sector, as the number of beneficiaries of the programs exceeded 21 thousand citizens, since its launch in September 2021. Al Mazrouei said that Nafes initiatives include all areas of work in the private sector, with the program focusing on vital sectors, such as the financial services sector, health care sector, and retail, indicating that the Council carries out periodic reviews of programs and initiatives, in light of any developments, in light of any developments. Al-Mazrouei expected that the recent updates to the “Nafes” program would contribute to building partnerships and supporting more than 170,000 beneficiaries in both the private and banking sectors during the next five years, explaining that the updates included expanding the scope of salary support, to include working citizens with all their jobs, specializations and educational qualifications. Without exception, provided that the monthly salary does not exceed 30,000 dirhams, and the value of financial support has been raised, bringing the monthly financial allowance to 7,000 dirhams for bachelor’s holders, 6,000 dirhams for diploma holders, and 5,000 dirhams for high school holders and below.

He said that among the updates that were announced was the inclusion of all citizens working in the private, banking and insurance sectors, regardless of the date they joined work, whether they were appointed before or after the launch of the “Nafes” program on September 13, 2021.

Al Mazrouei indicated that the modernization decision also included granting a citizen working in the private sector a children’s allowance of 600 dirhams for each son, provided that the monthly salary does not exceed 50 thousand dirhams. The amendments also included raising the value of temporary financial support for those who lost their jobs in the private sector, and extending the period of The maximum benefit is up to 12 months in five years.

He pointed out that an amount of 24 billion dirhams has been allocated for the “Nafes” program to lead the Emiratisation file in the private sector, and to provide support for working citizens and job seekers in the private sector.
