An 18-year-old man is charged at the Kalmar district court after he allegedly had a knife on school grounds when it was not warranted.
According to the indictment, it happened on the seventh of November this year at Västervik's high school.
The knife must have been carried on an occasion where it is considered capable of being used to attack someone's life, health or safety.
This as the incident must have taken place at a school, which is a special place worthy of protection.
The crime is considered serious and the man is suspected of breaking the law on the prohibition of knives and other dangerous objects.
